Assistant Buyer – Fashion

Position: Assistant Buyer – Fashion

Location: East Midlands

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 depending on experience

Job Reference No: B007

Responsibilities:

1. Working closely with the designers and garment technologists to develop and design commercial ranges.
2. Build and develop existing customer relationships, working closely with buyers and working to briefs.
3. Assisting in presenting and selling ranges.
4. Working closely with factories in Bangladesh.
5. Negotiation of cost prices.
6. Attending sample and comp shopping trips.
7. Carrying out extensive trend research.

Additional Information:

The Assistant Buyer must have some experience of working with High Street retailers/brands and be able to confidently develop ranges.

The Assistant Buyer must have excellent communication and organisation skills with a drive to succeed and a ‘can do’ attitude.
