A leading luxury department store in the City of Westminster is looking for an Assistant Buyer to support their Furniture division. You will assist in the full buying cycle and work closely with suppliers while analyzing sales performance. Ideal candidates should possess prior buying experience in luxury retail and have strong analytical skills. This role offers a hybrid working model encouraging collaboration and attention to detail.
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Buyer to support our Furniture (Home) division in delivering an exceptional product offering across multiple channels. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract until September 2026.
As an Assistant Buyer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Buyer through the full buying cycle, ensuring the right product mix is selected, delivered, and performing in line with business goals. You’ll be immersed in market trends, supplier relationships, and in-season trading activity while helping to drive commercial success across stores, online, and airports.
Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.
Please see our Hybrid@Harrods policy on our Career Site for more information or speak to a member of our Talent Acquisition team if you have any questions regarding the requirements for this role.
