Job Responsibilities

1. Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives contributing to departmental objectives.
2. Manage relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to enhance collaboration and performance.
3. Maintain the Indirect Contracts Log to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
4. Prepare comprehensive tender documents for Indirect spend categories with the guidance of the buyers.
5. Process Purchase Order Requests for Indirect Spend, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
6. Handle RFQs and other client requests efficiently.
7. Provide support to operational supply functions in resolving issues and optimizing processes.
8. Address invoice queries in accordance with business needs.
9. Foster value-added relationships with cross-functional departments and suppliers.
10. Ensure the day-to-day adherence to purchasing processes and promote compliance across the organization.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Previous experience in developing commodity sourcing strategies with a focus on cost reduction is desirable.
2. Excellent communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration.
3. Intermediate proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
4. Strong administration skills to manage documentation and processes.
5. Ability to conduct commercial analysis to inform decision-making.
6. Numerate with a keen understanding of financial principles.
7. Professional and ethical approach to business dealings.
8. Commercial awareness to navigate market dynamics and industry trends.
9. Commitment to continuous improvement in processes and outcomes.
10. Team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
11. Results-driven mindset to meet and exceed objectives.
12. Computer literate, with experience in ERP systems considered an advantage.
