Graduate Building Sureyor - Manchester

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate/Assistant Building Surveyor to join our team in Manchester. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of projects with high-profile clients and provides excellent prospects for career development within our consultancy organization.

Responsibilities

* Working across multiple projects in different sectors and providing various building surveying duties.

* Maintaining client relationships and ensuring service delivery on a project-by-project basis.

* Assisting with project management, contract administration, condition and measured surveys, design and implementation of small to medium-sized projects, due diligence surveys, defect analysis, and building surveys.

Qualifications

* BSc (Hon's) Building Surveying RICS Accredited degree or similar.

* Working towards full membership of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS, MCIOB or similar).

* Good all-round surveying experience in a client-facing role.

* Experience in project design and delivery, including refurbishment and extension projects.

* AutoCAD user with the ability to communicate well at all levels and prepared to travel as required.

Day-to-day

You will work collaboratively within a vibrant team, managing client relationships, and dealing with legal and technical issues. You will also stay updated on industry issues and developments in best practice.
