Property Partners Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Building Surveyor to join its Building Consultancy team in Reading. The role offers hybrid working and APC support toward MRICS qualification, with mentoring from experienced Chartered Building Surveyors and exposure to diverse commercial properties.

You will assist with surveys, dilapidations, due diligence and project work, developing professional skills under senior guidance and aiming for MRICS through the APC pathway.

Competenze

• Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
• Working towards MRICS qualification.
• Previous experience within a building surveying consultancy.
• Some experience across professional and/or project-based building surveying services.

Mansioni

• Assist with a broad range of professional and project-based building surveying services.
• Undertake building surveys, schedules of condition and defect inspections.
• Assist with dilapidations, technical due diligence and planned maintenance instructions.
• Support the delivery of refurbishment, alteration and improvement projects.

An established independent commercial property consultancy is looking to appoint an Assistant Building Surveyor to join its Building Consultancy team in Reading.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Building Surveyor looking to develop their career within a well-regarded consultancy, offering exposure to a varied workload and excellent support towards achieving MRICS qualification.

You’ll work alongside experienced Chartered Building Surveyors, gaining hands‑on experience across professional and project‑based instructions involving commercial, industrial, retail and heritage properties.

Role & Responsibilities of the Assistant Building Surveyor:

• Assist with a broad range of professional and project-based building surveying services.
• Undertake building surveys, schedules of condition and defect inspections.
• Assist with dilapidations, technical due diligence and planned maintenance instructions.
• Support the delivery of refurbishment, alteration and improvement projects.
