Job description

Our client, an award-winning Property Consultancy based in Poole, is seeking an Assistant Building Surveyor to join their Building Surveying team. The role focuses on Residential, Commercial Healthcare, Mixed-Use, Office Space & Commercial, Technology, Transport, and Leisure projects. The work involves a mix of professional and project work across the region.

The ideal candidate will have graduated or be close to graduating in Building Surveying or a similar RICS-accredited field. The position is open to recent graduates or candidates with some industry experience.

Assistant Building Surveyor Position Overview

• Deliver projects, commissions, and professional assignments from inception to completion.
• Maintain effective communication and liaise with managers to ensure efficient financial control.
• Assist in managing client and project teams to deliver surveying services profitably and on time.
• Visit sites to undertake surveys, meet with contractors, clients, and staff to ensure project delivery.
• Ensure all work outputs are accurate and timely.

Position Requirements

• Graduated or close to graduating in Building Surveying or similar (RICS accredited). Candidates with slightly more experience are also considered.
• Full driving license.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Poole.
• Seeking a long-term role.
• Interested in completing the APC process.
