Assistant Building Surveyor

A well-established, medium-sized consultancy based in London is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Building Surveyor to join their growing team. (APC support is among the best in the industry.)

Responsibilities:

1. Assisting with building surveys, condition assessments, and inspections across various property types.
2. Preparing reports on building defects, repairs, and maintenance.
3. Supporting senior surveyors in managing refurbishment and construction projects.
4. Advising clients on building regulations and compliance.
5. Involvement in dilapidations surveys, party wall matters, and general property-related issues.
6. Contributing to the preparation and review of project specifications and tender documents.

Minimum Requirements:

1. A relevant degree in Building Surveying or a related field.
2. At least 12 months of consultancy experience as an Assistant Building Surveyor.
3. Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
4. Motivation to learn and develop professionally.
5. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
