We're representing a multi–disciplinary practice with a strong track record of delivering Building Surveying, Architecture, Quantity Surveying and Project Management services across the UK. Their current portfolio spans sectors including residential, commercial, education and heritage, offering both project and professional Building Surveying work.

Due to continued success, they are seeking an Assistant Building Surveyor to join their Brighton office. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands–on experience across the full spectrum of surveying duties while receiving tailored support toward chartership.

Assistant Building Surveyor Salary & Benefits

• Salary: 25,000 – 40,000 depending on experience

Assistant Building Surveyor Job Overview

• Assisting with condition surveys, measured surveys, and defect diagnosis
• Supporting project delivery including preparation of specifications, schedules of work and contract administration
• Involvement in a range of work across residential, commercial and education sectors
• Working alongside senior surveyors to develop client relationships
• Supporting health and safety compliance, including CDM duties
• Preparing reports and maintaining project records

Assistant Building Surveyor Job Requirements

• Degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline
• Ideally some practical experience within a consultancy environment (including placements)
• Graduates will be considered for this role
• Eager to progress toward MRICS status
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Must be within commuting distance of Brighton
