Role Summary

Title: Assistant Building Manager

Team: Site - Portfolio - Landmark

Reports To: Building Manager - Landmark

The Assistant Building Manager supports service delivery, assists the Building Manager and senior team, and ensures high standards of management, maintenance, and service.

  • Manage contractor and supplier performance, ensuring value and efficiency, and support procurement processes.
  • Ensure emergency preparedness and site security, supporting emergency responses, including out-of-hours situations.
  • Engage with occupiers to improve satisfaction through customer experience initiatives, forums, and placemaking.
  • Assist in preparing and monitoring service charge budgets, analyzing expenditure, and ensuring compliance with RICS guidelines.
  • Oversee contractors and manage Permit to Work systems.
  • Collaborate with the Sustainability Team to develop and monitor sustainability initiatives, resource use, recycling, and emission reductions.
  • Provide administrative support and prepare reports for management, ensuring compliance with legislative and standards requirements.
  • Monitor statutory and internal compliance, policies, and standards.

Experience and Salary

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • IOSH certification preferred

Working Hours: 8:30 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday

Salary Range: GBP 30,000 - GBP 35,000 per annum, depending on experience
