Kier Group plc is seeking an Assistant Bridge Engineer - Design to join our Structures design team in Salford Quays. You will support delivering high-quality designs and technical solutions, collaborating with colleagues to develop safe and innovative engineering outcomes.

Based in Salford Quays with remote flexibility, the role offers opportunities to work with local and national authorities, develop technical skills and contribute to meaningful projects that influence infrastructure and safety

• Preparing preliminary and detailed designs in accordance with approved design procedures
• Assisting in the production of design drawings and schedules
• Supporting the delivery of technical and feasibility studies that meet client specifications
• Conducting on site investigations and analysing data including maps, reports, and drawings
• Contributing towards technical excellence and innovation across the team

Job description

As an Assistant Bridge Engineer - Design, you'll be working within the Structures design team, supporting them in delivering high-quality designs and technical solutions.
