Job Description

McDonald’s UK & Ireland is looking for an Assistant Brand Manager (Trust) to join our award-winning Corporate Marketing team. Working alongside the Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in delivering campaigns that shape public perceptions, reinforce our brand values, and engage millions of customers and employees across the UK and Ireland.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain early accountability, sharpen your strategic thinking, and deliver high-impact work with visibility, covering campaign strategy, promotional planning, internal communications, and creative execution.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support the execution of McDonald’s UK & Ireland brand calendar and trust-focused campaigns
  • Develop marketing briefs and manage timelines for flawless campaign delivery
  • Manage below-the-line creative development from concept to execution, including internal communications, website, and print
  • Assist in above-the-line campaign development, collaborating with external agencies and partners
  • Work cross-functionally with teams across Marketing, Communications, Insight, Supply Chain, Legal, and more to ensure consistent brand experiences
  • Build business cases and lead post-campaign evaluations
  • Manage project budgets proactively and communicate effectively with stakeholders and franchisees

What You’ll Need

  • Proven marketing experience, ideally in retail or FMCG brand environments
  • Strong project management, financial skills, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder influence
  • Collaborative, proactive problem-solving approach
  • Good creative judgment and experience working with agency partners
  • CIM or ISP qualifications are desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
