Job summary

The University of Manchester is recruiting to support the Bars Manager in running the licensed bars across the halls of residence and any external facilities. You will provide motivational and supportive supervision of staff to ensure that professional standards are consistently met in relation to bar services for residential and non-residential students, conferences and functions.

Job description

The University of Manchester Halls of Residence are home to over 7000 students during the academic. There is a small amount of vacation conferencing and a busy graduation period during the summer months. The bars team is predominantly made up of part-time student staff.

To assist and support the Bars Manager, in managing the licensed bars across the halls of residence and any further external facilities. Through motivational and supportive supervision of staff, ensure that the agreed professional standards are consistently met in relation to bar services for residential and non-residential students, conferences and other functions.
