The Roof Gardens, a premier social club in Kensington, is seeking an Assistant Bar Manager to lead our world-class drinks program. You will curate cocktails, mentor a skilled bar team, and uphold exceptional guest experiences for our private events and member services.

Based in Kensington, this role demands an impeccable demeanor, extensive luxury hospitality experience, and strong operations acumen to drive GP, control stock, and ensure licensing compliance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in high-end drinks service environments.
• Excellent customer service and professional demeanor.
• Strong liquor, stock and margin control knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bar operations across The Roof Gardens.
• Develop bar team through hiring and training plans.
• Create beverage and cocktail lists with Bars Manager in line with budgeted GP.
• Increase spend per head and GP while minimising costs.
• Manage and utilise bar systems to maintain stock levels.
• Ensure bar maintenance and compliance (recipes, fridge temps, cleanliness).
• Adhere to licensing operating requirements.
