Job summary

K E WEE & ASSOCIATES PAC, based in Penarth, United Kingdom, is seeking an experienced audit professional to supervise and review statutory and unaudited financial statements. You will manage engagements, prepare statements, and contribute to assurance projects while training junior staff.

The role requires ACCA or a degree in accountancy, 5+ years of external audit (including 2+ years in Singapore), and fluent English with Mandarin capability for client liaison.

Qualifications

• ACCA or Degree in Accountancy required.
• Minimum 5 years external audit experience, including at least 2 years in Singapore.
• Good knowledge of accounting, auditing and Financial Reporting Standards.
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Able to communicate effectively in spoken and written English.
• Mandarin communication ability to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Strong work ethic and alignment with firm standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervision, management and review of audits of statutory financial statements and unaudited statements.
• Perform and manage engagements for larger or complex audit assignments.
• Prepare and compile unaudited statutory financial statements (consolidated where applicable).
• Participate in other assurance engagements and special projects.
• Train and coach audit seniors and assistants.
• Handle other tasks as assigned.

Job Scope:

• Assist in supervision, management and review of audit of statutory financial statements, other financial information and preparation (compilation) of unaudited statutory financial statements

• Perform and manage engagements for larger or complex audit engagements and other assignments

• Preparation and compilation of unaudited statutory financial statements (including consolidated financial statements)

• Participate in or assist in other assurance assignments and special projects

• Training and coaching of audit seniors and assistants

• Other tasks as may be assigned

Qualifications and experience:

• ACCA or Degree in Accountancy

• Minimum 5 years’ external audit experience including at least 2 years of external audit experience in Singapore

• Good knowledge of accounting, auditing and Financial Reporting Standards

• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork

• Able to communicate effectively in spoken and written English

• Ability to communicate in Mandarin to be able to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients

• Good work attitude with keen interest in auditing profession
