Job description

Job Title: Assistant Attendant

We are seeking an Assistant Attendant to join the Facilities Management Team based at The Oval, Bedlington.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess a 'can do' attitude, and have practical and customer service skills.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Performing DIY tasks and assisting with office moves, including moving bulky furniture items.
  2. Sickness cover for Cleaners and conducting alarm and statutory testing.
  3. Distributing and collecting staff documentation.
  4. Meeting contractors on-site, opening and locking buildings, and interacting with building users and staff regularly.

This is a part-time position, 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 11:30 am.

Requirements include physical fitness, some knowledge of health and safety issues, and flexibility.
