Job description

Cambridge Judge Business School (CJBS), part of the University of Cambridge, is a world-class institution known for rigorous thinking and high-impact education. Since its founding in 1990, CJBS has built a strong reputation for transforming individuals, organisations, and society through research and teaching. Located at the centre of the Cambridge Cluster, Europe's leading technology entrepreneurship ecosystem, CJBS sits within an 800-year-old university yet embodies a modern, globally engaged business school. It was ranked 1st in the UK's 2021 Research Excellence Framework for business and management studies.

Within CJBS, the Strategy & International Business group's research has uncovered how corporations deal with disruptive events and compete in an increasingly complex global environment with a diverse set of socio-political and economic influences. A distinctive feature of the group is its ability to produce leading research at the juxtaposition of how corporations achieve and sustain competitive viability, and how their social and environmental footprints can be examined and moderated through internal and external governance systems.

The successful candidate will hold a PhD in management or relevant adjacent fields, and will have a record of impactful research, evidenced by publications and a strong paper pipeline. They will also have excellent teaching experience in premium business school degree programs (Master in Finance; MBA; Executive MBA) or on Executive Education engagements. Project administration and dissertation supervision are also expected.

We are looking for an anticipated start date of 1 September 2026, or mutually agreed, and offer a competitive package of benefits.

Application requirements:

  • Curriculum vitae (CV)
  • Job market paper
  • Cover letter explaining your interest in the post
  • Evidence of teaching performance
