SUEZ are hiring for an Assistant Asset Manager to travel nationally to our Energy & Processing sites to ensure standards for asset management are translated to site specific procedures and enable the consistency of best practice.

On offer is £48,643 per annum, plus up to 10% annual bonus, 5% employer pension, 3 x life assurance policy and 25 days holiday (plus 8 bank holidays).
Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
You can be based anywhere in the UK, however, you must be happy to commute nationally and the 2nd stage face to face interviews will be held in Tee Valley.
About The Role
What will I be doing?
- We are looking to recruit an Assistant Asset Manager who will work with the asset managers promoting asset management philosophies and systems in the energy division.
- Promoting asset management awareness through coaching.
- Tracking the delivery of asset management plans.
- Identifying areas where the asset team can assist in decision making
- Supporting the implementation of the asset infrastructural changes in landfill.
- Leading continuous improvement projects.
- Managing asset management related projects.
- Assisting sites prepare for internal & external ISO55000 audits.
What are the requirements?
- Asset management requires an operational, technical and business understanding, as all there elements are integrated in an effective asset management system.
- The ideal candidate will have core experience in maintenance, operations or a business role but must also have an understanding of the other elements.
- This experience should be underpinned with an applicable technical qualification to HNC or C&G level such as Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance, Plant Operative, or similar.
Other Essential Skills
- A highly motivated self-starter who can independently manage their own time and workload, with a focus on delivering the asset management plans.
- Excellent project management skills to enable projects to be delivered within scope.
- Good interpersonal skills as the role will require interfaces across the entire value chain.
- The ability to manage others and promote an engaging team environment.
