Job Summary

We’re excited to offer an opportunity to join us as a Band 2 Teaching role within the vibrant and dynamic area of study!

This role involves supporting the operational management of Electrical programmes within the Mechanical and Electrical Services department. You will assist in managing staff and resources, ensuring excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment.

As a key member of the area management team, you’ll collaborate with colleagues, take on flexible management responsibilities to enhance effectiveness and innovation across the department and college.

You will also teach Electrical Installation subjects, impacting students' learning and future careers. If you’re ready for this challenge, we want to hear from you!

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified electrician with a Level 3 or higher qualification in Electrical Installation/Maintenance, including AM2 assessment and NVQ.
• Minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics (e.g., GCSE Grade 4+ or C and above).
• A Level 5 Teaching Qualification, or willingness to complete within 3 years of employment.
• Experience managing staff or leading a team.
• Level 4 Internal Quality Assurer (to be obtained within first 6 months).
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
