Labcorp is a leading global drug development services company and we provide support to the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries.

We are currently seeking an Assistant Archive Coordinator to join our team at our site in Eye, Suffolk.

In this role you will perform a variety of Archive responsibilities in compliance with appropriate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Clinical Practice (GCP) or Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations (as appropriate) in support of various stakeholders.

This would suit individuals from a logistics, warehouse or archiving background or individuals with an interest in archiving and working to regulations.

Duties Include:

  • Performing any combination of archive tasks, including labelling, receipt, transferring, tracking, inventory, archival, shipping, and disposal of samples and/or materials

  • Sample accession core tasks, including box opening, inventory/labelling, receipt/store, and pulls/returns

  • Use of tracking systems as appropriate to maintain sample and study integrity

  • Accurate protocol and relevant documentation interpretation (i.e., Sample Analysis Outline, client paperwork)

  • Documenting and communicating discrepancies to appropriate personnel and assisting with problem solving

  • Communicating effectively with internal and external customers

  • Ensuring adherence to company Global/Regional/Local SOPs as appropriate

  • Compliance with relevant Environmental, Health and Safety at work regulations and Company Policies

  • Maintaining storage units

Skills / Experience:

Full training will be provided however we are looking for individuals that can demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently

  • Data recording skills

  • I.T proficiency and ability to learn new systems

  • Customer service skills

  • Strong detail orientation paired with organisational skills

Note: Physical requirements include, but not are limited to, standing, bending, reaching and lifting.
