Qualifications

  • Degree or HND in Agriculture/Environmental Science is required.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.
  • Experience in policy evaluation or related fields is a plus.

Salary: c. £24,824

Location: Stoneleigh, Warwickshire

Working Hours: 35 hours per week

Contract Type: 12 months Fixed Term Contract

Purpose Of The Role & How You Will Contribute

Are you passionate about farming and its contribution to the environment? We're seeking a talented individual who can support the NFUs Environment Team in shaping and communicating environmental policy. In this role, you will be assisting in monitoring and evaluating the development and implementation of national legislation, policies and practices to assess their implications for farmers and growers.

What Youll Bring

With an HND, or degree in Agriculture / Environmental Science or a related field, youll have a passion for environmental policy, strong communication skills and the ability to analyse complex information. Youll be collaborative, organised and eager to support farmers and growers in navigating environmental challenges and opportunities. You will be comfortable at building strong internal relationships with both colleagues and external stakeholders and have the ability to deliver accurate information within set timescales.
