Are you an organised, approachable and motivated individual who enjoys making a difference behind the scenes?
We’re looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our friendly Care at Home team, supporting the delivery of essential services to people in their own homes.
This varied and rewarding role involves everything from answering calls to supporting our Care at Home Officers and Coordinators with day-to-day admin tasks. You’ll play a key part in helping us deliver safe, person-centred care across our communities.
You’ll need strong IT and communication skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to juggle priorities in a busy office. Experience in admin is essential – and if you’ve worked in health or social care settings before, even better.
In return, you’ll join a supportive team, gain valuable experience, and enjoy the benefits of working with NHS Highland.
Interested? Apply today and help us make a real difference in people’s lives.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week. If you have any questions or concerns please contact the Recruiting Board.
