Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within an independent noise specialist with expertise in environmental, architectural, and building services. Due to expansion, they are currently looking for an Acoustic Consultant to join their acoustic department near Reading.

To be considered for the role, you must possess a minimum of a first degree in acoustics, noise, and vibration, and have excellent communication skills with enthusiasm to pursue a career in this thriving sector. In return, you will enjoy a diverse range of projects across sectors such as performing arts, education, healthcare, transport, commercial, and the environment, working on prestigious developments across the UK.

Qualifications
  • BSc/MSc in Acoustics, Noise, and Vibration
  • Full driving license
Experience
  • Technically competent with Sound Insulation Testing
  • Commercially aware and a team player
  • Good communication and client liaison skills
  • Understanding of relevant standards and regulations (preferable)
  • Resourceful and ambitious with the ability to self-manage
Projects

Projects include concert halls, theatres, opera houses, music schools, museums, hospitals, medical schools, community medical facilities, offices, hotels, residential developments, noise and vibration measurement, mapping, assessments, and infrastructure projects (road, rail, air), building design, and education.
