Job summary

London is seeking an Assistant Acoustic Consultant to support construction noise and vibration management on a major infrastructure project. The role offers exposure to both client-side and consultancy environments, with a salary of £30,000–£34,000 and 1–2 years’ experience.

The successful candidate will assist with noise surveys, data processing and reporting, and help identify mitigation measures while developing technical expertise within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in acoustics, noise and vibration.
• Degree in acoustics, engineering, environmental science or related discipline.
• Understanding of environmental noise and vibration assessment, including construction-related work.

Responsibilities

• Support monitoring and management of construction noise and vibration.
• Assist with noise and vibration surveys, measurements and site assessments.
• Process and review environmental noise and vibration data.
• Identify potential noise and vibration issues and support mitigation measures.
• Prepare technical reports, monitoring records and project documentation.
• Liaise with stakeholders and support communication between client and consultancy teams.
