Sewell Wallis Ltd in Nottingham is seeking an Assistant Accountant for a growing vehicle servicing business. You will work in a small finance team supporting management accounts, month-end processes and payroll.

Ideally you are AAT qualified or studying, with at least three years’ experience in an Accounts Assistant or Assistant Accountant role, and you will gain study support as you develop. The role offers a supportive environment, modern offices, study help, and opportunities to advance

Qualificações

• Ideally AAT qualified, although not essential.
• At least 3 years working in an Accounts Assistant or Assistant Accountant role
• Experience with payroll
• Experience with management accounts and month-end close
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics GP would be beneficial
• Experience with Commercial vehicle rental would be useful

Responsabilidades

• Management Accounts & Month-End: complete general ledger and cashbook postings, perform bank reconciliations, manage intercompany transactions and support financial analysis.
• Stock & Expenses: maintain stock balance sheet accounts, manage expenses and credit card transactions, process financial entries.
• Payroll Support: assist with payroll and provide holiday cover when required.
• Accounts Payable: reconcile supplier statements and maintain the purchase ledger.
• Systems & Process Improvement: support Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations and process improvements.
• Ad hoc Projects & Team Support: holiday cover across the finance team and assist with finance projects.
