Job Description

The successful Assistant Accountant will be involved in:

• All daily Bookkeeping activities
• Bank Reconciliations
• Journals and adjustments
• Accruals and prepayments
• Sales Ledger invoicing and basic credit control duties
• Month End support and preparation
• Assisting with year-end and statutory accounting duties alongside the Finance Manager

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Assistant Accountant will be able to travel to just outside Reading, near Theale, with their own transportation. Candidates should have prior experience in a small but varied finance role, such as an Accounts Assistant or a more senior position, seeking a role that is varied and engaging without undue pressure.
