A leading company in the motor trade seeks an Assistant Accountant in Barnsley. The role involves producing financial reports, preparing budgets, and assisting in reconciliations. Ideal candidates will have AAT qualifications, motor trade experience, and strong Excel skills within a supportive team environment.
Salary: Hourly rate from £14.28 plus 33 days holiday, Life Assurance, and other great Company benefits.

We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our friendly team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the production of monthly reports, annual reports, and related reports, as well as preparing forecasts and budgets. Responsibilities also include reconciling the Balance Sheet Account and assisting in control and distribution of all group finance income. Ideally, candidates will have previous Motor Trade accounts experience and be AAT Qualified or studying in later stages. Intermediate knowledge of Excel and a commitment to making a difference are also required.

This is a Hybrid role working on-site and from home. During the first 3 months (probation), work will be full-time from the office, moving to hybrid working from month 4.
