Search Consultancy is recruiting an Assistant Accountant in Glasgow to develop management accounting experience within a supportive finance team. The role focuses on month-end, management accounts and financial reporting within a charitable organisation.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in accounting and month-end processes.
• Experience with management reporting and multiple locations is advantageous.
• Ability to calculate accruals and prepayments accurately.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly management accounts preparation.
• Prepare P&L reporting across multiple locations.
• Calculate and process accruals and prepayments; post journals.
• Support month-end processes and financial reporting.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting queries.
• Use Excel extensively for analysis and reporting.
• Communicate with colleagues across the organisation.
• Take ownership of workload to meet deadlines.
