Job summary

Right Formula is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join the finance team on a full-time basis in the UK, with exposure to AP, AR, and management accounts support. You will report to the Management Accountant and contribute to a fast-paced, global agency environment, gaining experience across the full finance function.

The role offers hands-on balance across day-to-day operations, with opportunities to develop towards month-end and management accounts work while supporting the wider finance

Qualifications

• Experience in an Accounts Assistant/Assistant Accountant role covering AP.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication skills, internal and external.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes and supplier invoices.
• Process invoices, ensure correct coding and approvals, and match to POs.
• Prepare and support bi-weekly payment runs on NatWest.
• Maintain aged creditors ledger and supplier records.
• Assist month-end close with journals and reconciliations.
• Support WIP reporting and intercompany reconciliations UK/US.
• Contribute to month-end reporting packs and finance workbook updates.
• Provide ad-hoc support to the wider finance team as required.
