Overview

Vertu Ford Shirley – An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our team in Vertu Ford Shirley. This is a Full-Time, permanent role where we are offering a basic salary up to £28,000 depending on experience plus an excellent range of company benefits.

You will work alongside the accountant in the production of spreadsheets and statistical data to support the management team, and as an aid to business decisions.

Qualifications / Skills
  • An experienced Assistant Accountant, who is looking to take the next step up
  • A working knowledge of the Kerridge accounting system would be ideal but not essential
  • Previous Motor Trade experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all financial and non-financial colleagues, clients and customers
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft packages
  • Good organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
