An Assistant Accountant opportunity to join a global business group with a portfolio of brands.

This is a full-time, 5-day-a-week, office-based role in Watford. No hybrid working is available.

In the role of Assistant Accountant, you will be involved in invoice processing, payments management, vendor management, reconciliation, and reporting.

Key responsibilities:

1. Processing purchase and buy ledger invoices
2. Maintaining AP ledgers, spreadsheets, and reports
3. Managing monthly journals and nominal ledger
4. Checking bank statements daily and updating the cashbook across all currencies

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have around 3 years of experience in financial accounting, with a background in both industry and chartered accountancy practice. Proficiency in SAGE, advanced Excel skills, and strong knowledge of ERP systems are required.
