Job Description

Assistant Accountant responsibilities:

  • Match invoices to purchase orders and goods received notes.
  • Follow up disputed invoices with budget holders.
  • Generate payments schedules for authorisation.
  • Processing supplies invoices.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Perform company credit card reconciliations.
  • Maintain and reconcile key balance sheet accounts.
  • Allocate operating costs.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance team.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting and finance department as needed.
