Role

Reporting to the Group Director of Finance, this role offers a broad and varied experience across all areas of the finance function within a small, collaborative team. We are looking for a proactive and solutions-focused individual who thrives on taking initiative. This is a dynamic and wide-ranging position where no two days are the same, offering continuous opportunities to tackle new challenges and contribute meaningfully to the business.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Prepare daily reconciliations, management P&L, and client money reporting
  • Support with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Prepare and process payments
  • Prepare and post journals to the Xero ledger and perform analytical reviews as part of month-end processes
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management P&L figures for different business units
  • Assist with the annual audit process
  • Assist with quarterly VAT and regulatory submissions
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required
Requirements and Preferences:
  • Experience in the financial services sector
  • Part-qualified accountant actively working towards full qualification
  • Knowledge of accounting software and strong Excel skills
  • Ability to take initiative and problem-solve independently
  • Team player capable of quickly integrating and building effective relationships across the business

Candidates should have the right to work in the UK and, where applicable, possess a visa/permit that does not require sponsorship.
