Due to internal promotion, this Assistant Accountant role will work closely with the newly promoted Management Accountant and the vastly experienced Senior Management Accountant.

If you are actively studying your Level 4 AAT or recently AAT Qualified, this role is a perfect opportunity to enhance your development.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the monthly management accounts

• Reconcile and maintain the general ledger

• Maintain the fixed assets register

• Assist in preparing year end accounts

• Monthly VAT returns

• Bank reconciliations

• Monitor cost of sales provisions and verify discrepancies

• Ad hoc tasks across the office
