Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 to 16:30 (37.5 hours per week)

The Assistant Accountant is a vital part of any finance department. You will utilize your previous knowledge and skills gained in an Accounts department to support the team and work closely with the Dealership Accountant to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

This role offers the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in our Dealership Accounting team, helping you develop your skills and establish a successful career in the automotive industry.

• Perform daily bank reconciliations, including cash and bank postings during team absences
• Process purchase ledger invoices and payments
• Handle daily banking activities
• Review and analyze vehicle and cash sale debts weekly
• Assist the Dealership Accountant with month-end tasks

Ideal candidates will have previous experience with Kerridge/ADP or similar systems. Motor trade experience is advantageous but not essential. We welcome quick learners eager to start their accounting careers, as we are always looking for fresh talent.
