Job Introduction

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Groundforce finance team at our office in Morley. As Assistant Accountant you will report into our Asset Accountant and assist the finance team in providing robust and continuously improving accounting and management information to our businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the finance team with a variety of day-to-day tasks
• Provide accounting and administrative support to the finance team
• Prepare and enter journals into our system
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Support the preparation of management accounts and month end duties
• Maintain asset registers to ensure accuracy and completeness

What We're Looking For

• You must be AAT qualified (level 4)
• Ideally you will have at least one year of experience in an accounting team
• Strong advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required
• Must have good attention to detail
• You will possess the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines whilst using your own initiative
