About the role

This role is required onsite in our London office 3 days a week.

Our Finance team provides insight and operational financial support to drive growth and maintain a strong financial position. The team has grown significantly to support the company's expansion.

As an Assistant Accountant in Accounts Receivable, you'll be responsible for maintaining our accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely records, and building relationships with internal stakeholders.

Alongside your role development, we offer a £7k fully comprehensive study support package for ACCA or CIMA, including 20 days of study support per year.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Reconciling customer self-bill invoices and payments with varying complexity.
2. Managing data quality in the sales register.
3. Assisting with customer account reconciliations.
4. Investigating billing discrepancies and raising customer queries with energy suppliers.
5. Collaborating with the Commercial Director and team to produce decision-making reports.
6. Building relationships with energy suppliers to resolve issues and improve processes.
7. Raising invoices and monitoring AR inboxes, resolving customer queries.
8. Chasing overdue invoices to minimize aged debtors.
9. Running month-end reports within tight deadlines, ensuring accuracy.
