Job Description
- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Support the Accounts Payable and Receivable functions as needed.
- Monitor budgets and provide variance analysis to senior management.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to external audits.
- Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other statutory requirements.
- Provide administrative support to the Accounting & Finance team.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within financial operations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate should have:
- A background in finance or accounting, ideally within the Motor Trade
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A relevant accounting qualification or study towards one
