Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Accountant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with customs duty compliance and processes
• Supporting quarterly and annual statutory and regulatory reporting
• Assisting with internal controls and the year-end audit process
• Collaborating across functions
• Liaising with internal stakeholders
• Producing daily reports for submission
• Supporting data gathering and analysis for the team
• Assisting the wider finance team as needed
• Handling ad hoc requests

You will work within the Finance team and collaborate with internal stakeholders across the business.

Skills/Experience:

This is what you’ll need to be successful in this role:

• Part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or AAT qualified
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with a desire to understand the "why" behind the numbers
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build stakeholder relationships
• Proactive, organized work approach, and IT proficiency, including strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software
