Job description

Vertu Hyundai Exeter

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our team at Hyundai Exeter. This is a fixed-term 12-month contract to cover maternity leave.

We are offering a basic salary of up to £27,000 pro rata. This is a part-time role, working 24 hours per week, with flexible days and hours.

You will work alongside the accountant, producing spreadsheets and statistical data to support management decisions and business operations.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Forecasts
2. Estimates
3. Assist with the production of Management Accounts
4. Payroll
5. Balance sheet reconciliations
6. Accruals and Prepayments
7. Cash Flow management
8. Reconciling Manufacturer Bonuses
9. Credit Control

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Assistant Accountant, with knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office. Experience with Kerridge accounting system and motor trade background are advantageous but not essential. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and customers are essential.
