Qualifications

Your Role: Assistant Accounts Manager

We're looking for a proactive and collaborative Assistant Accounts Manager to join their team. In this full-time, permanent role, you will support senior management and engage directly with clients to enhance business effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a variety of accounts from planning to completion, supervising junior staff.
  • Organize client meetings and prepare agendas and memos.
  • Assist in planning work schedules to meet statutory deadlines.
  • Oversee client books and liaise with clients to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Prepare statutory accounts under FRS 101, FRS 102, and SORP 102.
  • Handle corporate and personal tax compliance and assist with tax planning as appropriate.
  • Engage proactively in promoting Fairhurst services.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 12 months post ACA/ACCA qualification or qualified by experience.
  • At least 1+ years' experience in a similar role, with preference for tax compliance experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with Sage is beneficial.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and deadline-driven with excellent communication skills.
