Role and Division

Structured Investing is a global, multidisciplinary front office structuring team within Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) focusing on optimizing the Firm’s investing, lending activities, funding, and legal structures. The team originates, structures, and executes transactions impacting the Firm’s tax, regulatory, and accounting positions, working closely with deal teams across AWM and other divisions. This dynamic team thrives in fast-paced environments and values diverse structuring expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, approve, execute, and maintain transactions affecting the Firm’s tax, funding, accounting, and regulatory positions.
  • Collaborate with internal functions to navigate governance and approval processes.
  • Coordinate with external advisers and internal teams on transaction documents.
  • Create presentation materials for stakeholders.
  • Model financial impacts and economic benefits of transactions.
  • Maintain and monitor transactions post-execution, including deal models and economic impact reports.
  • Represent the business in dealings with internal groups and external advisors to resolve compliance, operational, legal, tax, accounting, and funding issues.
  • Assist with structured funding initiatives.
  • Enhance team expertise in structuring areas such as tax, accounting, funding, and capital.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
  • 5+ years of experience in a tax or structuring role (e.g., accounting firm tax advisory, tax lawyer, in-house tax, or transaction structuring at banks, funds, or corporates).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
  • Team player with collaborative mindset.
