As a risk manager within Asset Management Alternatives, your role involves proactive risk management, portfolio monitoring, market observations, and process oversight. The risk team enforces the risk management framework.

Position Responsibilities

• Collaborate with portfolio management and risk teams to monitor risks
• Develop risk oversight processes, policies, and procedures
• Analyze emerging risks and assess impacts on portfolios
• Engage with the business to understand and challenge risks
• Monitor risk metrics and perform analytics
• Enhance risk transparency and capture
• Assess risks of new products and businesses

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Knowledge of quantitative analysis and modeling; Excel skills; US GAAP knowledge preferred
• 4+ years in risk management, portfolio management, trading, or asset management
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Familiarity with risk methodologies like stress testing and sensitivities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with alternatives
• Advanced quantitative skills
• Postgraduate degrees or certifications (CFA, FRM)
• Knowledge of portfolio valuations and investment funds
• Experience with regulatory frameworks
