Job Description

Business Unit:

The Custody Services Team includes 36 staff providing support for the Firm's Investment/Wealth Asset Managers, their teams, and clients. The team comprises Trade Support (Settlements, Transfers, Treasury), Data Management, Corporate Actions, and Tax and Operations Control. The Transfers Team manages client transfer processes for all product types and onboarding/subscription processes for ISAs/JISAs.

Role Objectives:

  • Support all aspects of client account transfers ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Manage asset transfers across products such as GIA, ISA, SIPP, OIB.
  • Monitor transfer progress and liaise with stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Assist the Front Office to manage client assets promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrange transfers ensuring records are accurate and reflect the assets transferred.
  • Coordinate with Settlements and Client Services to ensure compliance and accuracy of valuations and tax calculations.
  • Keep the Front Office informed of transfer statuses.
  • Assist in recording and distributing management information.
  • Support the Transfers Manager and participate in system improvements.
  • Contribute to process improvements and troubleshoot issues as needed.

Requirements:

Skills and Competencies:

  • Asset transfer experience with a UK Wealth Manager or Stockbroker.
  • ISA knowledge and experience.
  • Team player with good organisational skills.

IT Skills:

  • Proficient in PC and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with FNZ Wealth Asset Management platform (Figaro) is desirable.
  • Experience with Equisoft (Altus) platform is desirable.
