Asset Technician Grade 5-8
Hours: 36.25 hours per week
Starting Salary: £27426 to £40527 (Career Grade Scheme applies)

We have a vacancy for the right candidate to join our team of Asset Maintenance Technicians who are responsible for managing and maintaining assets within Road Maintenance. This is an opportunity to join a team responsible for the development and management of a high quality, efficient, and effective road maintenance service in Moray.
The postholder will also contribute to policy development, asset management planning, the development of service improvement plans, and performance reporting within Roads Maintenance.
This post would suit someone with a civil engineering (or closely related) qualification with some experience in road maintenance. However, applicants without the required qualification but with extensive work experience in road maintenance or a related construction field are also welcome to apply.
This position benefits from flexible working hours and an annual holiday entitlement of 28 days plus 7 Public Holidays, rising to 33 days plus 7 Public Holidays after completion of 5 years' service.
This post has a career grade framework in place which sets out a clear path for progression up the salary grades. The post is based at Ashgrove Depot in Elgin, though the successful candidate will be required to work on sites throughout the Moray area. The post can also include an element of hybrid working from home.
