Job Description:

Role Overview: To set up and send out corporate action information to clients accurately and in a timely manner, manage the election process for a corporate action through to deadline, balancing long and short positions, and sending instructions to our local agent bank.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding different types of corporate action events and their nuances
  • Managing client and firm risk during the lifecycle of the corporate action event
  • Developing strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Building relationships with agent banks, registrars, and exchanges
  • Collecting required legal or jurisdictional documentation
  • Providing input into service level agreements
  • Liaising with legal regarding restrictions
  • Communicating with external agents and internal units

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in Financial Services, especially Asset Services, Corporate Actions, Settlements, Reconciliations
  • Good analytical skills
  • Strong team player with good communication skills
  • Market and client needs understanding
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain control
  • Strong organizational skills and time management
  • Attention to detail, risk awareness, escalation skills
