SSE is seeking an Asset Policy and Strategy Manager to provide risk-based assurance of the Asset Management System and to lead the internal audit programme. You will coordinate external certification audits and guide assurance activities across senior stakeholders.
The role requires strong audit governance, ISO 55001 knowledge, and the ability to drive improvements in a complex, asset-intensive environment. Travel to SSEN sites is expected.

Salary: £59,800 - £89,800 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The Asset Policy and Strategy Manager will be a part of the Network Strategy and Assurance team and is responsible for providing risk-based assurance of SSEN Transmission's Asset Management System.
You will manage the internal audit programme, facilitate external certification audits and provide assurance guidance to senior stakeholders. Working with assurance and business teams, you will ensure activity is coordinated, evidence-led and focused on key risks and value.
A full and valid UK driving licence is also required, as travel to SSEN Transmission sites and offices forms part of the role.
