Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Asset Planner for our Manchester operation. The role focuses on creating production plans, coordinating materials, and ensuring on-time manufacturing and delivery within SAP S/4 HANA environments.

You will liaise with suppliers, production partners, procurement, logistics, and supply chain teams to maintain efficient operations and uninterrupted supply. The position is hybrid with office-based initial training and potential contract renewal.

Qualifications

• Experience in materials planning, production planning, or supply chain planning.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA, MRP, and ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills and MS Office proficiency.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• European language skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain production plans across a 12-month planning horizon.
• Execute production and purchasing activities through SAP S/4 HANA.
• Manage raw material, packaging, and label requirements to support manufacturing schedules.
• Coordinate suppliers, toll manufacturers, and logistics partners to meet delivery targets.
• Monitor inventory levels and drive stock optimisation.
• Lead regular production review meetings and KPI reporting.
• Resolve supply chain challenges and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Asset Planner | Manchester | £20.30 per hour | Hybrid Working

Are you an experienced Supply Chain or Production Planner with strong S/4 HANA knowledge and a passion for keeping operations running smoothly? We're looking for an Asset Planner to join a global manufacturing and supply chain operation, supporting third-party production partners across Europe.

The Role

You'll be responsible for creating and managing production plans, coordinating materials and inventory, and ensuring products are manufactured and delivered on time. Acting as a key link between suppliers, production partners, procurement, logistics, and supply chain teams, you'll play a vital role in maintaining efficient operations and uninterrupted supply.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain production plans across a 12-month planning horizon
• Execute production and purchasing activities through SAP S/4 HANA
• Manage raw material, packaging, and label requirements to support manufacturing schedules
• Coordinate suppliers, toll manufacturers, and logistics partners to meet delivery targets
• Monitor inventory levels and drive stock optimisation
• Lead regular production review meetings and KPI reporting
• Resolve supply chain challenges and support continuous improvement initiatives

About You

• Experience in materials planning, production planning, or supply chain planning
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA, MRP, and ERP systems
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Additional European skills would be advantageous
