Job description

Your Team Responsibilities

Based in London, the MSCI Asset Owners & Consultants (AOC) Sales Specialist will drive the adoption of our Index, Analytics, ESG, Real Estate and Private Capital Solutions products by pension funds, insurance companies, central banks, foundations and investment consultants in UK and Ireland. This will include the expansion into new accounts as well as the management of existing client relationships. We follow a consultative selling approach aiming to understand our clients’ investment processes, seeking to add value through our indexes, data, research, tools and solutions.

This position is a highly visible, working in a strategic and targeted sales driven environment. The AOC sales specialist will be involved in various aspects of business development including senior level relationship management, product demonstrations, contract negotiation, and increasing revenue through new sales and strategic account planning.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve targeted goals, including but not limited to, benchmark win and benchmark displacements leading to strong long-term growth
  • Establish new client relationships and win new clients
  • Relationship management with existing clients
  • Identification of up-selling and cross-product selling potential
  • Position all MSCI products and MSCI research with key stakeholders
  • Strategic account planning
  • Answer detailed client inquiries about MSCI products and methodologies
  • Maintain accurate records regarding account visits, client conversations, etc.
  • Pro-actively solicit client feedback regarding new initiatives and future product development
  • Provide feedback from clients to Management, Research and Product Development
Your skills and experience that will help you excel
  • Strong knowledge of the investment processes of the UK & Ireland Asset Owners and Investment Consultant ecosystem
  • Knowledge of the financial markets & trends in sustainable investing
  • Proven track record working cross asset class (Equity, Fixed Income, Real Estate and Private Assets
  • Applicable and relevant institutional sales experience
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Master/CFA would be a plus)
  • Familiar with MS Office, especially Excel & PowerPoint
