Job summary

Foundation Recruitment is assisting an expanding European Investment Manager to recruit an Asset Manager for their UK team, based in Leeds or Manchester. You will own lease management, marketing, refurbishment and financial performance across a high-quality real estate portfolio.

You will lead rent reviews and negotiations, manage letting agents, and oversee refurbishment schemes from design through to delivery, while maintaining accurate property records and performing due diligence on

Qualifications

• Proven experience in asset management or a related real estate role.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with property management databases and financial systems (Yardi experience a plus).
• Solid understanding of lease terms, property law and regulation.
• Project management skills, ideally overseeing refurbishment works.
• Ability to analyse financial data and prepare cost reports.
• Understanding of property marketing and leasing strategies.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of lease management, marketing, refurbishment and financial performance across a portfolio of assets.
• Lead rent reviews, renewals, break options and re-gears with third-party agents.
• Maintain property records using Yardi and coordinate with the Property Management Accountant.
• Appoint and manage letting/sale agents for vacant properties and oversee deals to completion.
• Carry out inspections and due diligence on acquisition targets, including managing advisors.
• Prepare cost reports and manage refurbishment schemes from design to delivery.
