Job summary

loc8me is hiring an Asset Manager to cover MAT on a fixed term. You will manage the property portfolio, build strong relationships with Landlords, Tenants and Contractors, and lead maintenance scheduling with clear communication.

Based in Durham, the role emphasises customer service, end-to-end ownership, and compliance. You’ll work in a dynamic team, receive competitive benefits, and play a key part in a scaling lettings business.

Qualifications

• 2 years customer service experience (preferred)
• 2 years property management experience (preferred)
• Driving licence required and personal car preferred (where applicable)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with Landlords, Tenants, and Contractors.
• Receive and allocate maintenance jobs and process invoices.
• Communicate with clients via phone, email and WhatsApp to coordinate activities.
• Conduct property inspections during tenancies and ensure compliance.
• Organise end of tenancy check-outs and deposit returns.
• Arrange tenancy move‑in and inventories.
• Oversee utility management and portfolio information.
• Provide investment advice on landlords' portfolios and growth opportunities.
• Assist with FRAs and Legionella assessments.
• Collaborate with accounts to keep ledgers accurate.
